We are looking for a Sr. Telecom RF Tech/Foreman to support a MiMo Implementation project for a major national Telco. This is 6 month project starting in the Washington DC/Baltimore/Virginia area immediately. Candidate will be working with a Tower Riggers to implement MiMo project on sites distributed throughout the area, and perform necessary task to bring the site up.

Site should be finished as per MOP and every evening site should be kept clean and debris should be removed, for work order CM need to get Ticket for each site and when reach on the site call NOC and log in the team information. If site get into reset or out of Service, this is team responsibility and team need to coordinate with NOC and but the site ON air and close the Ticket before team leaves.

Requirements

  • Ability to run all aspects of a tower project, top or bottom, with minimal to no supervision.
  • Run all test equipment (Sweeps, PIM, Fiber, Microwave, etc.)
  • Strong leadership role – committed to safe & reliable services in which you are willing to help train others
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid AED, OSHA 30, RF Radiation Safety & Awareness, Anritsu, PIM, and Competent Climber certifications
  • Self-starter & team player who pays strict attention to detail and organization effectively interfacing with all levels of management, staff, and customers
  • Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm needed in a constantly changing work environment
  • Effectively interface with all levels of management, staff, and customers
  • Ability to work in any region no specific Market and take your team to work in that area
  • Be available for evening, weekends, and rotational assignments; accepting on-call responsibilities
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to use office equipment (i.e. computer, copier, scanner, fax)
  • Ability to perform duties of Tower Tech I-III with ease
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge (i.e. Outlook, Word, Access)

Physical Requirements

  • Energetic and mentally prepared
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, kneel, sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to reach, climb, and/or grasp ladders or other tall structures
  • By bringing in your own people you know who can do what and who else you need.
  • The team have foreman and climb tower or work on rooftop, Must have certificates for Health & safety (OSHA), tower climber, Crane operator.
  • Scope involve but not limited to
  • New tower sites
  • Antenna swaps
  • Antenna alignment
  • Hybrid cable installations
  • RRU swaps and installations
  • Site construction experience
  • Manage a team working on projects that may include construction, repair, and/or maintenance
  • Coordinate and give instruction on the installation of wireless infrastructures including but not limited to (installation of antennas, feed lines, fiber, shelters, self-support towers, guy towers, and monopoles) at heights 500+
  • Contribute to the department effectiveness by receiving and providing information as necessary
  • Promote teamwork, implement directions, and work to support company culture, goals, and objectives
  • Delegate tasks to team members to promote position growth
  • Maintain professional attitude and lead by example
  • Provide support to Managers and customers
  • Demonstrate commitment to customer service at all times

  • Isolate basic hardware, software, and air interface malfunctions utilizing various test equipment on multiple products and technologies

            Job Description

            We are currently looking to augment our present team of motivated conscientious workers.

            We have an ongoing project with one of the major national Telco, performing MiMo Implementation in DC/Maryland/VA

            POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

            • Experienced Tower Rigger
            • Experienced Rooftop Worker
            • Junior Tower / Rooftop Worker

            OVERVIEW:

            • Installation of steel antenna mounts and supports
            • Installation of Antennas and radio equipment
            • Running Fiber and DC cabling
            • Working at heights
            • Some heavy lifting
            • Splice, join and connect wires
            • Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment
            • Inspect and test trunking systems
            • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
            • Independent and team working environments

            Job Type: Full-time

            Salary: DEPENDING on EXPERIENCE

            Experience: Telecommunications: 2+ years (Preferred)

            License – MUST have appropriate certification/licenses for working on heights & telecom site
